Workouts of the Past Week

Last week, I really took advantage of having time to go to the gym. I mixed it up with lifting, spinning, and running:

Sunday: Free weights/floor exercises

Monday: Spin class

Tuesday: 5 mile run

Wednesday: 4 mile run

Thursday: 5k run

Friday: 5k run

Here’s the strategy I use for runs; I really find that it makes the time fly by because it breaks a long, more monotonous run into shorter bursts of faster running separated by walking a tenth of a mile to get a bit of a break.

The week had a bit more running than I would have liked to do, but I started to run short on time during workouts at the end of the week, and running was just as efficient & easier than Spinning because I didn’t have to wait for/sign up for a class.
